The Oasis Drop in Centre held its second annual Christmas luncheon on Wednesday 22nd December 2004.

SHELTER FOR HOMELESS DRUG USERS WITH HIV/AIDS
OPENS IT DOORS IN MUMBAI, INDIA

The long wait for a shelter to cater to those in a crisis finally ended when we were granted space by the Municipal Corporation in April. Although we began immediately after the elections on the 27th, it was only when the repairs and renovation was complete that we were able to have a formal inauguration on 8th July 2004.

TRAINING WORKSHOP BY TTK

T T Ranganathan Clinical Research Foundation in collaboration with DOH International and European Commission conducted a five day workshop on Management Development Programme for second line staff who are managing NGOs in Asian Region. 12 participants from India, Nepal, Malaysia and Cambodia attended the programme.

ASIAN DIRECTORS VISIT CARIBBEAN

Following on from the very successful visits made by the Directors of Caribbean drug treatment services to Malaysia, Thailand and Pakistan in November 2002, DOH International, with financial assistance from the European Union (EU), is coordinating a reciprocal visit of Asian directors to the Caribbean this November.

NEJAT OPENS CAR SERVICE CENTRE (WORKSHOP)

On Wednesday 8th of October' 03, Nejat opened its Car Service Centre which will provide skill training and employment for people having been through it's drug treatment services"
